KIngKure 90S is used mainly for newly cast concrete and cementitious surfaces to retain sufficient moisture to ensure full hydration of the cement as well as providing concrete with a harder dust proof surface. Typical application areas include:
- Runways and roads.
- Roof decks.
- Retaining walls.
- Irrigation canals.
- Concrete slabs and walls.
- Columns and underground foundations.
Surface preparation
KIngKure 90S should be applied immediately after the concrete, render or screed has been cast and all tamping, trowelling or floating has been complete (or the formwork has been stripped) ensuring that there is no free water on the surface at the time of application.
Application
On both horizontal and vertical surfaces KIngKure 90S should be applied by spray at a rate of 5 - 6 m2/litre.
Where shuttering has been used, the surface should be thoroughly dampened with clean water following the striking of shutters, then KIngKure 90S applied by spray at 5 - 6 m2/litre. Avoid bonding of KIngKure 90S as this may result in a glaze following drying.
KIngKure 90S is available in 25, 200 and 1000 litre containers.
